Morning Flow

Mindfulness is the ability to be fully present and aware without being overwhelmed by what is going on around us. Paying attention to sensations and feelings in each moment without judgement. Although in a sense all yoga is mindful in mindful yoga classes we focus more on the awareness than the shapes we are making.

In these classes I blend my mindfulness and yoga training to design sessions to wake up your muscles, slowly building some heat, whilst maintaining awareness of sensations and how the body feels. Moving through a breath-paced flow, stretching and strengthen your entire body. Plenty of time to slow down, pause and tune inwards, tapping into that deeper part of yourself that doesn’t judge or criticise.

A different theme each week and lots of modifications so it’s perfect for beginners, returners or if you have an injury. We always finish on our backs and get cosy for a 15 mins relaxation and mindful meditation, leaving you feeling centred and nourished.

Mindfulness is a practice involved in various religious and secular traditions, from Hinduism and Buddhism to yoga and, more recently, non-religious meditation. People have been practicing mindfulness for thousands of years, whether on its own or as part of a larger tradition.
